One of the things that Grand Rapids MI is famous for is its skywalk.

this video takes you through around the skywalk, The map on the left shows you where you are. It makes me a little motion uncomfortable as it is a timelapse including motion!
i traveled to Grand Rapids a few times for work. The funny thing about those visits is that I found a good friend of mine who lived in Grand Rapids. I had only ever seen him in Seattle, so it never clicked for me that he was not from Seattle.
Grand Rapids MI is also the home of former US Congressman, and US President Gerald R. Ford.

I remember seeing pictures of the 2011 storm. The videos of the animals pouncing through the snow blocked door to come in. All those too. This time lapse is super cool. I saw the dozer and said oh no!! lol The snow mountains get so big. One I missed, I was already out here. The second one, was cool. But I had to keep looking away, and following the red dot on the map. Motion sickness yes.
it got me as well, it was edited a bit hard to take.

I really like the picture. It is a great skyline. I could share a picture of my old car, I really liked it. It was a Renault 19, it was great to drive but I got too old I could not drive it. It was sad. I liked it because I did not mind if it was dirty or broken as it was old. In fact, driving it was a good experience better than driving new cars.

I have never been in Grand Rapids but I have been quite a few times in Three Rivers Michigan because it is not far from there and there is a Latvian summer camp and high school called Latvian Center Garezers
i did not know that – so cool! I’ve been to three rivers Michigan, but we were putting canoes in one of the rivers so we weren’t there long.
We never get that much snow here. Great video.
i found it on my morning search for information about the city, it was interesting to see the snow falling!

I have fond memories of snow but I don’t really miss it. Digging out cars and stuff isn’t fun anymore I guess.
it never was fun! we had a total of 1 inch of snow this entire year. I don’t miss it. Although I do miss powering up my snow blower!
That’s a lot of snow! I am going to watch some blooming flowers on a time lapse to get my spring mood back.
