Most online sites now have the “Captcha” sign-in screen. I was just booted out of the system here at Virily (has been happening for about a week or so now) and when I tried logging back in… there was the Captcha screen. I do not mind doing this. What I don’t understand is why are we not told anything that is going on here at the site?? Things just happen and I really try hard just rolling with it.

No but I can find myself abruptly logged out when working on Virily posts.
Yes that is how it started for me then the captcha screen started days later.
I saw it today when I logged on.

Captcha is supposed to try and keep hackers out which is great. Would like to know ahead of time that’s all.

Yes it does and it is suppose to be for security measures which is great.
I always the captcha the station guard of a site. Some of them are a thorn and some of them are roses.
Yes I know and I am for extra security but a heads up would have been a great route to take.
I like the idea of the captcha since a lot of sites have gone down due to hackers and their like.
The Captcha would be annoying, but would deal….it is awful that they don’t tell us anything!! I did get a thing to check that I am not a robot when I logged on today.
I am all for security measures. Just knowing about it would be respectful that’s all I am saying.

I agree, Carol. A short email detailing changes to the system and what’s going on would be awesome!
I know, right! I have been singing the same song for so long here, no communication, the silence is deafening. I really try to go along and not say anything but sometimes it comes out.

Well whatever has worked for the last 2 years. That is when I originally wrote the comment.
Those aren’t even robots anyway, they’re scripts. I hate that misnomer…
I know Alex. I am just venting because you never know what changes you might see, with no communication.
You’d think this is something they might want to give us a heads up on, especially due to the faulty implementation, but it may be a good thing
