cap pulled down to cover my heart
until there was only the sound
of whispers.
Do you hear them
the whispers? Always there and not
sharing information
just sounds
disconnected
and filling tin
ears overflow
when the sound bounces
the tin ears shatter and lying
broken on the ground we
grab a dustpan again
to clean up the mess.
Does the cap
pulled down
do more or less
to hide the mess?
All the way to the heart
it covers nothing.
But empty eyes and
cap-shaped hair.
I don’t remember
when.
Sounds like a most emotional time. I am going through some heavy memories lately they just keep popping up and I would like not to remember when but I do.
Yes it was a very dark time for me. I felt no control, and like I was crashing.

yes it was a period of black rain, I like that as an analogy it works perfectly!
All the difficulties that can be made by rain made twice by black rain, the more heavy and longer, more difficult to overcome without sincerity and earnest effort. So glad that period has passed for you.
