It is not unusual to spot few small animals in our home garden. I find squirrels, monitor lizards, skinks, cats and different species of birds. It is not easy to photograph most of them as they tend to flee at the sight of a human being. Cats are no longer seen in large numbers in our neighborhood as they used to be. For whatever reasons, the number of cats in our neighborood is dwindling. I spotted this one a year ago. It was a beauty completely at peace with its surroundings. This one was playing a bit of cat and mouse (pun intended) when I tried clicking a picture. After a while, it realized that I posed no threat and the cat happily started posing for me.

Cats are cute but too independent and moody to me, I prefer dogs 🙂

We have several species that visit our garden and with a zoom camera I click many of them. Cats are regular visitors. I feed them

I used to feed a street cat but she passed some months ago.

I don;t have any cat as pet
We also don’t have any pets. We have occasional visitors now though we used to have resident cats a couple of years back (residents but not pets).
