  1. We have the same interest in walking I see, and photography! I want to try for that 25 miles a day. I have done 20 with no elevation gain, basically just a flat walk. With elevation I can only do 10. I am getting stronger and the miles come easier. Have you ever been lost?

    • In Himalayan region there are places where no transport is available but you have to walk. For instance when I visited valley of flowers it was a 20+ km walk from one side and if you wanted to visit and come back the same day you had to walk all this distance. I have done it many times besides doing it in Laddakh where walking is way of life. In Australia there are walking trails where people do it for fun and fund raising for various causes.

  2. I love to travel and I love photography too, but long walks have always been my place to think, to laugh to be myself. I love walk only with those I love though and sometimes by myself. So looks like we have a few things in common.

    • I know it’s hard to do long walks due your busy schedule but I have done it in Ladakh, Himalayas and other mountain regions of North East. At my present location my walks are limited to 10-12 km on famous walking trails.
