When it comes to the alphabet D, it reminds me of dog and it always reminds me of my Labrador Retriever, whom we named her Labby.
She had been with us for more than 5 years, and she had died for more than 5 years too. I am still feeling sad when thinking about her. How I wish she could still be with us, especially when my kids ask me to have a dog at home always.

She looked cute with the towel.
We actually dried her with the towel after taking bath, but then she was playing with the towel, so at last we just tied the towel around her neck. 😀

Thanks! Yes, we had been thinking long for the name. We wanted one that’s easy for us to call. At last, my husband and I chose “Labby”. 😀
I have had dogs and lost them, I have cats now.
I think it’s unavoidable that we will lose someone in our life. That’s life.
My kids like cats too. They always brought in the stray kittens when they met them on the street, but the kittens always ran away. 😀
Labs are amazing. We have two at home now. They make our family better. I am sorry you lost your beloved Labby!
Yes, I love Labradors too. They are so lovely! It’s so nice you have two at home. I am hoping to have another one when my kids are ready to take care of a dog, as I can’t afford to take care of another “kid” at this moment. 😀
our daughter got a Lab nearly 17 years ago, she was 9 at the time, She took care of that dog and they were best friends.
The twins were 16 when they got their dog (she is still with us now). They have done a good job taking care of her.
We always had dogs since many years and the last one Preiti we lost six months ago She was 12 years old. The oldest was Naaki and she lived for 16 years.
I am sorry you lost! I know it can’t be forgotten even if it’s been a long time since then! I also have a dog, Maya. She is 7 years old and I hope she will be a long time with us.
Preiti is missed every single day. Each of our pets had their own personality.
Sorry for your loss. But I suppose we will have to face this when we decided to take in a pet. I was actually prepared for it when we first had our dog, I thought it might be 12-14 years, but she died because of illness when she was just about 5 years old.
Hope your dogs will always have long time be with you…..
I no longer have dogs but have decided to just have cats.
