Hibiscus ~ Alphabet Challenge

I saw this Hibiscus flower on the way when I sent my children to a class. There are two different colors of Hibiscus growing on the road side, orange and red. My daughter likes Hibiscus, hence she asked me to take a photo of those flowers.

I just checked online and found that Hibiscus is also called shoe flower, as it’s used to polish shoes in Asia. It’s also called Rose Mallow and China Rose. Some said it’s originated from China.

It’s also the national flower of my country, Malaysia. It’s called Bunga Raya in Malay language, which means the flower of celebration. We call it “Big Red Flower” in Chinese, though this is not its actual Chinese name.
