First, a call to action – you can do or ignore it is your call.
Please send an email to the support team. Ask the admins to publish the backlog of users’ posts. Some have been waiting for more than nine days. I figure if we all email the support team asking them to get those articles published, they might move faster. Or at least we can offer some sympathy for our fellow community members that have been waiting for a long time. The viability of any site like this one is the reality of views. The more new material we have, the more likely authors are to come back. The following content we have, the more perspectives we drive. I have noticed that right now, most of the trending articles in the trending tab were published more than four months ago.
If you want some text, I will include a high-level sample of what you could send at the end of this post. As a community, we are stronger when there are more new posts on the site every day. The admin team is also more reliable when we have more posted content available for readers and other authors to read! I have a goal to read 20 or more posts per day. I know over the last couple of months, it has been a struggle to make it to that 20 goals often. Some of that is the traditional doldrums of summer. The site has traditionally had lower views in the summer than in the spring, fall, and winter. People tend to be outdoors and on vacation more, and not inside writing!
Suppose we all send the admin team requests for those posts to be moderated. I know, bak when the site had the publication bug, some so many authors couldn’t publish. I am sure many of you remember those days. It is so essential for this site (and for any writing site) that we continue to have content to review. The more content, the more likely we are to gain views from internal and external readers. Thanks in advance if you do decide to send a note to the admins. The more of us that do that, the higher the overall impact. As a community, we are stronger together. The critical thing to remember is that while the admins on the site, we hold the content. There are other content sites on the internet, so we have some power here.
Sample text (this is only a sample)
Dear Admin team
I’ve noticed there are a lot of authors waiting eight or more days for their posts to be approved. Is there anything we can do to get these posts available for readers?

The waiting period has been too long which wasn’t the case. Without many contributions, the site will lose many users, and revenue for the site, and side income for the users.
I’m in.
thanks – i am hoping we can turn the ship around!
Hopefully, this issue will be solved very soon.
i truly hope so, it has gone on for at least 14 days so far.
That is so sad. Is it because the admins are few or something else?
honestly i do not know. i wish I could tell you

It is 11 days since I sent them an article and it was not too long. I do not know what to think. Thanks for your help
i am really sorry, i think the admin team has been greatly reduced for the site and they are overwhelmed right now.
but 11 days is too long.
Yes, now it is 12 days. I send them a message every morning. This is unbelievable.
i agree my friend. carol and I are trying to get the cavalry to ride in for you!!!
POSTING YOUR LETTER
“Dear Admin team
I’ve noticed there are a lot of authors waiting eight or more days for their posts to be approved. Is there anything we can do to get these posts available for readers?”
Thanks Andre – if you would also email virily support with that it would be awesome!
I assume that you are a verified member here, doc.
You do not seem to have any problems getting your articles published.
Some non-verified members are in danger of becoming “certified” members, unsatisfied, mystified, across this continental divide.
i actually published and shared with the admins the community ask to fully understand the process where users become verified.
We have to do the right things for everyone on this site.
No problem with sending an email or two however if they are backlogged how do your thing they’ll feel about all the emails? Perhaps it is time the admin considered adding onto their team someone who just takes care of the posts.
if they read and responded to every email it would be overwhelming. They respond to 1 in 100 so the impact is minimal. The impact of not approving posts is killing the site directly.
I’m going to send a mail every day. The current situation is hugely unfair. Thanks for highlighting this.
first I completely agree with you (i would print this and frame it!)!
Sorry couldn’t help poking the bear. You are right and I like the addition of doing it every day!
That’s a great idea. I will send an email today. I will be happy to help.
thanks – I think this will help those who are stuck in limbo now.
I sent an email yesterday. Do I send again in a couple of days?
i think that would definitely help to send it every few days.
Thanks. I will send every few days. Maybe it will really help.
i am hoping that if enough of us send them, eventually they will respond to one of us.
We must try everything in our power. That is the least we can do.
i agree – and I will continue to do everything I can!!!
This is a great idea and I do appreciate your efforts!! I have an idea that I want to post that will benefit all and will be fun, but I have to wait for moderation which takes days. I have several in queue here and several waiting to be added.
Thanks!!
we need more voices on the site every day! we need to get more and faster moderation
I totally agree with you 100% on that! I guess we will keep our fingers crossed! Right?
fingers crossed as we go! Toes were crossed but they hurt now!
Yeah toes crossed for long won’t get it!! I hate when I get leg cramps followed by toe cramps! Ouch!
those are without a doubt the worst!
I will have to agree with you on that one! I used to never have leg cramps and now it is more often than now. Need to bump up that mineral!
the one that gets me is knee pain
I have problems there too! My rheumatologist recommended knee replacements about 15 years ago. I decided I only wanted to HAVE to do it once so I’d wait. Have you tried CBD oil? It helped me.
about a month ago a buddy of mine that is a podiatrist said “try the new g-defy shoes.” that has reduced my knee pain, and foot pain by more than 50% in just a month.
Where do you get those? Never heard of them.
they are at Amazon
but their web site is really good
https://www.gravitydefyer.com/
Thanks, I will go over and check them out!
i’ve worn them for a month, my knee hurts less and my feet don’t hurt at all!!!
That is awesome! I did go over and look. There are a lot of bad reviews out there talking about the shoes breaking down. I’ll wait and get your feedback after a couple of months!
that is a smart way to go!
Looks like we are in for another backlog. They didn’t get the hint that this needs to be an on-going happening–approve the pending posts or else get the good authors verified!
personally i think it is the 2nd and high time!
Great idea, I will give it a shot! And yep the poll monster has returned. Oh well. He will be gone again soon enough.
there are so many authors waiting now
I sent my email for today. Will do it again tomorrow.
that is awesome thanks Carol!
