Color ~ Nature Tuesday

Took this photo while out today running errands. I thought the landscape looked really nice. It gave me some ideas to use in my garden. I recognized all of the blooms. They did a nice job with the different colored geraniums as a border.

The colors are what I really like. They brightened up my day and I hope they do yours as well.

I was reminded of a song by the band Chicago called Color my World. It is a beautiful song. One line of the lyrics is…

Color my world with hope of loving you..

  1. It looks like one or more of the plants there are salvia, possibly Russian sage. I just took cuttings off of a salvia and am hoping that they will root.

      • Pink is a little unusual for salvia, but blue through purple is pretty common. I love both blue sage and Russian sage. The shade is nearly the same, but blue sage has much larger blossoms. Hummingbirds love it.

    • Yes indeed. I actually found a Russian band that covers them and you would never know the difference. Don’t usually like cover bands but this one is amazing. And a few of their videos have one of Chicago ‘s band members playing with them.
