Chasing Time and Dreams ~ 365 Photos Challenge #263

Like racing with time, people run after dreams. What’s wrong with that? There is nothing wrong with that because everyone is taught, motivated, and required to have dreams.

All desires are raised to be placed as high as a star to achieve, the sky is the limit. Learn to stand, learn to run and jump, learn to fall and rise, also learn to push and drop, open all theories and knowledge, reading the chance, opportunities and risks. Everything that can and possibly be done must be mastered to reach the sky.

Again, there’s nothing wrong with that. We believe that we do not know our limits until the boundary wall is touched by the fingertips and cannot be broken down. Before that is achieved, don’t give up, don’t despair, keep trying. Add again, go forward, higher, again and again.

Who is the whisperer? The motivator? The ruler? Until a certain stop, we become restless, broken, and disappointed because the stars have never been reached, or are still lacking and need more. While the time needle continues to move, tick tack tick tack… within the limits of morning, afternoon and night. Dreams never finish like endless skies. The sky is the limit is a great motivational sentence or slogan but only an illusion in a dream for a limited human mind. That is the spirit and paradigm that fit for the infinite spiritual world as well as the great reality in certain contexts, but not for software in this hardware.

Then when and how all the desires to pick stars and store them in this palace will end? Maybe if the desire to know your own soul has been born and risen. But ehhh… is that interesting?

  1. I agree. I feel like all people are hustling for their dreams, spending plenty of time with it and lost their time to somehow enjoy life without stressing themselves achieving what they’ve started and still struggling to get them.

  3. Very thoughtful indeed and yes we all have desire to follow our dreams but what do you do of people that are around you to thwart or dash them in a concerted manner

  4. Great post as always Albert. We must all have dreams and aspirations for sure. I do and try to keep my eye on them. But I also know life throws curve balls, so keep an open mind about everything. I am still learning myself and probably always will. I think that’s just what we do. Part of the journey.

  5. Funny, there was a time when I really didn’t know my soul and now it is much different. I know who I am. I know my soul. When your dreams are aligned with your soul, you stop chasing and start living. At least that is what happened to me.

    Thanks for the great post.

  6. It is a moment all of us reach, perhaps best captured by the line from Supertramp’s “Logical Song.” “The question’s run to deep for such a simple man.”

I would be based on reading this Albert ask you a question I heard first in College. “if you could meet yourself, as a separate entity not as you, would you like you?”

    • Wow! Wow! The song is one of the many rocks (with all genres) songs that have accompanied and inspired me in my search period when I was young too! You are cool, sir!

Do you believe that I immediately laughed at myself (and others) after realizing my true self? I look like kids fighting over toys with other kids… or, like donkeys running after a carrot tied to their heads.

That’s why I always write this kind of thing…

  7. Cool stuff around here. Hard to go after dreams but no choice left but to keep chasing. Kind of uncertain that everyone is struggling about I might say

    • I have a suggestion for you. Don’t worry about what others might say. Be true to yourself and you will be fine. Others may judge, learn, be confused or whatever and still you will be heard. Just write.

    • Thank you for your thought, Sheryl. I write this because we see that humans are generally busy to pursue hope or dreams. Not a few who get some of their passion, but so many don’t get it. Many continue to suffer or at least remain unsatisfied with the achievement of those dreams and vice versa, some realize that pursuing dreams without realizing the essence of life is futile.
