I began this pen & ink with rotting ink on butcher board a long time ago, and the completion was so painstakingly slow I put it aside for many years.
Then I saw it again and finished it off with a black Staedtler pen. I never really liked using the old rotting pen, the nibs would go dry and you had to frequently clean them or need to replace them.
The black staedtler pen is much easier to use.
I then got it framed knowing if I did not the picture would deteriorate. Hence a reflection from the glass of the framed picture.

Thanks Witty Feeds glad you like the picture
Great picture … I have no talent for drawing … maybe I ever drew something in school otherwise I avoid it

I am not talented for drawing but your drawing is too perfect
My drawing here is like Graphic Design which I trained for but it is easier than you think, except you need patience.
You are a source of inspiration to those who procrastinate and then get back (lol)
Thanks so much Grace glad you like it.
I’m not talented for drawing and I admire your work.
Thanks so much for the kind comment Vidocka
Never tried this before, you are very talented.
Thanks Carol, it was something I learned in Graphic Design a long time ago
Horses are my favorite animals, they are so elegant. Nice picture
Horses are loyal and make good friends, thanks Fortune
Very beautiful painting, Pamela. I haven’t drawn black and white in a while since I graduated from college.
