Black and white Friday ~ Jalovec, the sixth highest mountain

I caught this wonderful view of the Jalovec when I was at Tamar. Of course, it is even more beautiful in color but in black and white you can see the greatness of this mountain. Jalovec is 2645 m high mountain in the Julian Alps and is the sixth highest peak in Slovenia. All ten paths (from the five starting points) leading to Jalovec, a gorge of bold shapes that reigns in the midst of the Julian Alps in the embrace of four valleys, are considered to be very demanding. I do not even think of climbing this gorgeous mountain. I prefer to watch her in the valley. I admire anyone who has managed to conquer this mountain.

  1. Walking in the hilly terrain is my favorite pastime. I remember the time when I had a black and while Kodak camera and the result used be the same.
