To know if you are a sufferer, you need to know exactly what it is. So, just for starters, humаns hаvе bееn suffering from it fоr еоns. So, are you a procrastinator?
-
Yes

No

I will remember this word because this is the first time I have encountered that term Akrasia.
I try my best not to put off things. I feel better after they are done.
My husband is the procrastinator in the family which causes us to butt heads since I like things done right away!
Depends on the situation. I usually work or act fast. But there are circumstances in life which I usually either take a looooooong time to decide or I intentionally delay ?
Ah my fine feathered friend, you have brought forth a brilliant point of contention!
First, in the world of 15-minute bursts, is it distraction or procrastination that drives us ever way from our goals?
second are our goals clear in their beginning and end?
It is not procrastination to seek clarification of beginning or clarity of success (ending).
I concur, Doc, as to your enigmatic question, I believe, distraction is something that prevents one from concentrating on something else and as such, we all have things to do at times, that doesn’t necessarily fill us with glee, if we should put them off, then perhaps it’s procrastination.
Thank you for this fine opportunity of indulgence in a bout of literary fencing and of thrusting and parrying towards enlightenment and clarity…
I love it!
you are most welcome – let me parry one more time with the thought about the concept of things to do.
There is must do
should do
can do
But sometimes it is critical to put off must do, because in the end should do gets us closer to the bigger goal.
Indeed, Doc, between birth and death, there is a life strewn with variables.
I am slowly trying to be more organized and stop procrastinating my things.
Hello Nela13, congratulations with this new venture, remember, baby steps. You are embarking on an epic and unique journey of self-discovery. It is a lonely, one-way trip towards unraveling what took a lifetime to construct. I’m proud of you!
