Pomorie is a town in southeastern Bulgaria. It is a wonderful place to visit, located on a narrow rocky peninsula in Burgas Bay on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. It was founded by the Ancient Greeks under the name Anchialos, deriving from Ancient Greek “anchi-” (“near, close to”) and “als-” (either “salt” or a poetic and uncommon word for “sea”). However, the earliest evidence of human activity found in Pomorie dates back to the Neolithic Age (6th millennium BC). Pomorie is a popular tourist destination and it provides its guests with many accommodation opportunities. There are also plenty of venues and restaurants in the town. Here are just a few things you can do in Pomorie. All photos are mine.

You can also visit the pink lake or the Sand Sculpture Festival in Burgas.
Now that is so very tranquil looking. Love it. LOL at the ones with just the butt and feet showing.
The ones with the butts up always make me laugh.
