Yelagiri is a small hill station in Tamil Nadu near Chennai and Bengaluru. At an altitude of 1100 meters, this place does not become as cold as the other hill stations. It could get a bit sunny and hot during summer months. Yet, Yelagiri manages to stay a good 5 or 6° C below Chennai. This place is calm and any city dweller would appreciate the worth of fresh air. There are many attractions in Yelagiri such as Punganoor lake, nature park, an aviary (Fundera park), Velavan temple and many trekking routes. This hill station is suitable for all seasons as it would not get unbearably cold even during winter months.
It is not how much a place has but how much is discovered. You have discovered this place and must say you have taste.

Yes, each one of us have unique likes and dislikes. Hill stations are also preferred more in hot regions. In colder regions, the plains are cold enough that you don’t need the hill stations.
This place will be perfect for me with this climate. I like.
