It was an early morning ride to the office when I caught glimpse of Mayon Volcano coated with a thin layer of clouds while we were traversing the road on top of the hill. I took out my phone to capture this lovely view outside the window of the car.
This is one of the most stunning l volcanoes in the world. Its perfect cone is what makes it stand out from the rest. You can find an interesting article about Mayon Volcano HERE.
This is my fourth entry to the 365 Photos Challenge created by Artbytes26

That is a very lovely view of the volcano. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Tasartcraft for dropping by and for your appreciation.
My friend on another site used to put this picture almost every Sunday. This was the view from her Church. The Mayon is indeed picture perfect.
If I could buy my own camera, I would like to go around the volcano and would take pictures of it from the different places around it.
without volcanoes, how would we have islands?
I like the image very much, very nice.
Thank you, Pamela, your appreciation. That could be more beautiful if I already have a good camera.
Awesome photo.
Hmm… I started this challenged but stopped when my Internet connection got TOOO SLOWWWW. should I get back into this challenge? hehehe
Yes, you are right about the internet speed. That is also one of my problems. I hope you could be more active again.
Wooow, fantastic picture. I first thought that the volcano is covered with snow ?
Thank you, Vidocka. I just think of that when Ileana made a comment. We don’t have snow in our place. We only have two seasons. The wet and dry seasons.
A wonderful photo! Good luck with your challenge 🙂
Thank you, Abhishek. Not so great but it’s okay. Thank you for your appreciation.
As far as I know, there are very many still active volcanoes in the Philippines … I would always live in fear when I will have to flee before the outbreak … we are lucky not to have volcanoes, my dear friend
Thank you for dropping by, Lado. The local government of Albay sets a 5-kilometer danger zone and nobody is allowed to enter that area. It would also increase up to 7 kilometers when the volcano is showing activity. Mayon Volcano is the main tourist attraction in our place. Foreigners would spend thousands just to see this majestic volcano.
In Europe we have two volcanoes, and this is in Italy … I visited both of them … there are still some of them in Iceland … I believe that it is a real attraction … that on Etna is also perceptive … it was above the crater the chairlift so that you saw it directly in the crater only a few years ago, the volcano collapsed when it was again blazing … now I do not know if it was restored
This is the advantage of the phone. He is always with you and you can take a picture of the landscape when you travel.
Yes, Elenka. It’s good to have a phone but having a good camera is better. Thank you for viewing and commenting.
Beautiful Image , thank you for sharing
Thank you witty Feeds. This is one of the reasons why I want to buy a good camera. there are times when I find the volcano so beautiful, so majestic but I could not make a good shot. Especially during eruption where both foreign and local tourists would visit our place.
This is really great passion , Happy to heard from you
Such a different and beautiful place. Every kind of beauty.
Thank you Ghostwriter. The place where we are at that moment was a newly opened road on top of the hill.
Beautiful picture. You’re lucky to be in such a beautiful place.
Thank you Marja for dropping by. Yes, our place is popular because of Mayon Volcano.
welcome to the challenge – it can be long but keep going!!!!
What a beautiful volcano picture. Is this the main volcano for the island?
Thank you for dropping by, Doc. There are 23 active volcanoes in the Philippines and this is the most active. Tourists from different parts of the world would come to our province to see its charming beauty.
what island is this volcano on?
It is located in the province of Albay, Legazpi City, the island of Luzon.
Now I have to admit that I have only been to Manilla. Where is that in relation to Manilla?
Legazpi City, Albay is only an hour plane ride from Manila. You can drop by if you happen to visit the Philippines again in the near future.
It looks like it’s covered with snow! Beautiful view!
Thank you, Ileana for dropping by and for appreciating.
