Morning Greetings from the Majestic Mayon Volcano– 365 Photos Challenge #4

It was an early morning ride to the office when I caught glimpse of Mayon Volcano coated with a thin layer of clouds while we were traversing the road on top of the hill. I took out my phone to capture this lovely view outside the window of the car.

This is one of the most stunning l volcanoes in the world. Its perfect cone is what makes it stand out from the rest. You can find an interesting article about Mayon Volcano HERE.

This is my fourth entry to the 365 Photos Challenge created by Artbytes26

Thank you for viewing.

  1. As far as I know, there are very many still active volcanoes in the Philippines … I would always live in fear when I will have to flee before the outbreak … we are lucky not to have volcanoes, my dear friend

    • Thank you for dropping by, Lado. The local government of Albay sets a 5-kilometer danger zone and nobody is allowed to enter that area. It would also increase up to 7 kilometers when the volcano is showing activity. Mayon Volcano is the main tourist attraction in our place. Foreigners would spend thousands just to see this majestic volcano.

      • In Europe we have two volcanoes, and this is in Italy … I visited both of them … there are still some of them in Iceland … I believe that it is a real attraction … that on Etna is also perceptive … it was above the crater the chairlift so that you saw it directly in the crater only a few years ago, the volcano collapsed when it was again blazing … now I do not know if it was restored
