There are two Tulip Poplar trees in our backyard. I was not familiar with the trees but am learning. To my surprise the tree started producing these yellow and red blooms. Hence the name “Tulip” poplar. The blooms are shaped like a tulip flower. And the best part are the seeds inside are loved by the birds. A great addition to any yard.
