The Cape white-eye (Zosterops virens) is a small passerine bird in the white-eye family. It is native to sothern Africa. These little birds are almost impossible to capture in a picture, they move so fast. Before you can even get your focus on them they have already flown to another branch. The Cape white-eye feeds mainly on insects, but also soft fleshy flowers, nectar, fruit and small grains. It readily comes to bird feeders.

All of my photographs have a bicycle watermark. If you would like a copy of the photograph without the watermark please contact me.I trust that no one will use my photos without my permission.
