Nature Tuesday – A walk outside in Onehunga

Here are some of the places I go past as I go for a walk.

All I have to do is go for a walk outside on the streets of Onehunga and it’s great to get some fresh air

Helps to go when it is not raining. However we have not had a lot of rain during summer or even autumn so we can’t complain. It was winds of over 100 miles an hour yesterday, which gave me a lot of chokos from my vine. I was thankful since I don’t have to reach up high with a rake to get them down.

The thumbnail here is a letterbox that I always admire because of the nature vine that grows around it

#1 Old 2 Storey Villa, Spring St Onehunga

Mum would see that this was definitely in need of repairs and a coat of paint. If you looked closely the property is neglected but it is in flats and it is obviously rented by many people.

They cost a fortune to maintain.

  1. Thanks Dawn, I would not mind painting the house, but the price of paint is a lot more. Plus the wood needs to be looked at closely to see if any of it is rotten. I can paint homes but I am not knowledgeable of carpentry
