Hey guys! Today I have an interesting post. While enjoying the pretty nature, I got a close encounter with a pretty bee. She was doing her “beesness” , flying from flower to flower. And seems like she was ok with me taking photos.
You see the yellow dust particles on her body? That is the pollen. The bee is doing the pollination process. While collecting nectar, bees also collect pollen. Their body is covered in small hairs, that allow the small particles to be stick. These will fall onto the next flower they visit. An average honey bee will visit over 2000 flowers in a day. And that is a lot! These little ones are so helpful. Did you know that about 1/3 of our bites we take are here thanks to bees?
Hope that you liked this post!
A beautiful photo and very good article!
Beautiful photo. They’re such amazing little creatures. Did you know they do a little dance to show other bees in their hive where the best flowers are? It’s pretty incredible. You’ve really captured something wonderful here
Wow! I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing this info.
Beautiful photo!
I really enjoyed this post because I learned something we a lot of us take for granted.
Great shot! You’re right about our little pollenators! Yet, the government doesn’t think they are important!
Such a great close up shot
