Here is my day nine photo… Lettuce growing in a pot! You can also see some tiny pine trees I transplanted from the side of a road.. I love growing stuff!
I don’t use pesticides so there are holes, I would rather wash off bug spit than get poisoned.. If it gets bad I will use some neem oil on it. I have eaten a few pieces and my cat likes to it as well. In fact I started with about 10 of them. The cat ate all but four.. She prefers the tender young plants..
My past photo is here if you would like to check it out.

Nice post! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for checking it out Georgi. : )
I know many people who grow vegetables in pots
I know I am going to move soon, not sure exactly when, so I thought it best I put them in pots so I could take them with me if I moved sooner than later.
I think in that amount, the plant will be bare instantly for one meal… at three times is to much… LOL
I was just telling my son, he will get a head of lettuce soon. I couldnt eat it all before it goes bad. : )
Plant as much as possible, Kim. Who knows I will visit you, and want to taste it for a bit.
I always plant more than I need. I love to give! You and your family are welcome anytime!!
Funny, this reminds me of my Dad. As he got older he couldn’t maintain a garden so he planted in pots and called it his “Pot Garden”. I still smile about that. A great memory.
It’s very nice to have funny memories that bring a smile 🙂 I worry a bit about my own big garden as none of my kids has the slightest interest in maintaining it. They’ll probably just tarmac it and turn it into a car park once I’m out of the way 😀
lol awe a parking lot Naw they wouldnt do that.
Big Yellow Taxi alert! ??
Your pups are so young, now your daughter will be the one to bring everyone together.
