Which came first, the aphid or the ladybug? While I recently posted some ladybug pictures earlier in the week, I came across an area while hiking that had ladybugs dotting every plant and flower for twenty square yards. I have never seen so many ladybugs in one area. I thought I took some nice pictures, but after looking closer at the photos, I was surprised to see aphids in the photos too. Ladybugs feed on aphids, so perhaps that’s why the ladybugs were there. The aphids were too small for my eyes to see. However, the camera captured them.
I’m continuing my 2020 efforts to search through my archives and update some of my old posts that had missing pictures.
