Happy Friday everyone, are you all ready for the weekend?
I have to work, my weekend starts on Monday, so Friday is my hump day. What are your plans?
Today I thought I would look back to one year ago on this date. Maggie Mae, my little red Aussie was still alive, it was a perfect warm sunny day. My son and I decided to go visit a nearby River called the Santa Margarita River. It was a very short walk but so worth the enjoyment everyone had.
Here are a few shots of this day, enjoy.
#1 A look back
Maggie Mae looking back down the dry river bed. The actual river is just under the big trees you see in the top third of the frame.

#9 On to the other side
I wouldn't suggest owning a wolf hybrid, she is a rescue. I wouldn't trade her for the world. She is such a good girl, but does not act like a dog. One of the good things about a wolf is that they are pack animals and stay together. Being so she is never far away hence the waiting for us to catch up before adventuring on.
#10 Art edit
I leave you with this art edit I did, because for the life of me that day I couldnt get a picture of her without the white being blown out. It was straight up noon with a bright sunny day, not a cloud in sight.
Have a great weekend!
There is beauty in the dryness. 🙂 That is about what it starts looking around here in the end part of July.
This is our green spring look. lol
There is always beauty for me in a dried tree
We can find beauty anywhere right Elenka?
Our river is dry most of the year.
I love to walk dry river beds. So many cool finds.
I like looking at all the driftwood and the sand patterns.
And rocks and shells! Grins, I agree.
