Love ItLove It

These were Wednesday's Shadows.

Taken on Wednesday here are some shadows I picked out to post for Wednesday’s Shadows although it is now Thursday by the time these get posted.

Anyway,  My oldest son, and his two dogs along with myself and my two, went for a drive on a mountain crest here in San Diego County.

The drive is a big loop around the county. Starting off at the beach, where I live it was 73 degrees when we left and by the time we made it up to the highest point in our drive it was 43 degrees. We stopped and hiked a few times along the way with the dogs.

#2 The shadows on the mountain and in the valley.

#3 The shadows

were very long.

#4 We walked

Down this seasonal stream bed. My son had his phone on, and it claimed we went down 41 Floors in a mile and a half.

This is Lily, my sons Doberman Pinscher, with her bell shaped butt. If you look closely you can see Luna my black and tan mix.

#6 The whole pack

Going down to the bottom of the crevice. It was so deep the sun never reached us in spots.

#7 Coming back up

The same, we stayed in the shadows.

#8 My son took this.

Can you see me? Can you see the two dogs? I thought this was cool. Shooting a sun ray in the shadows.

#9 The clouds

creating a shadow over the valley we just came from.
