The bluebirds have had my attention the last few days. I got behind on the photo challenge and will eventually catch up. We had some rain showers yesterday just as the sun was setting. I snapped this photo from my deck. Dark clouds and my sunset tree. It was a restless sky for a few hours. Many thunderstorms started after the sun finally set. Today the sun is shining and it is a beautiful day. Hot but beautiful.

There are some things you learn best in calm, and some in storm. ~ Willa Cather
This is a Great to See.
I think the gods love to play around you, Carol. Their presence is so attractive by giving various beauties with full of charm.
How kind of you to say. Never thought about it like that. You just might be right my friend.
Well, Life is fair in its own way though
Yes I suppose in the balance of things it is Albert.
The Queen of Sunsets done captured again! That sunset with a strong black cuppa coffee or a medium glass of red wine.
*Blushes* You re to kind Bradley. Coffee and/or wine sounds delightful.
I can’t believe all the sunsets I’ve seen on Virily! That’s incredible!
Thanks so much as I enjoy my deck sunsets.
You reminded me, I am behind as well. Stunning sunset and photography! I LOVE your view!
Thanks Kim it is not so good in the spring and summer but I try. We all get behind. Have a great day!
We are in the time of year when our skies are often sunny and cloudless in the morning, with the formation of thunderclouds and rain or hail in the late afternoon or evening. It works out, though. The storms clear the air and cool it down for nighttime.
Beautiful picture!
Yes you are right Rex. My problem this time of the year is my deck view is not as good as in the fall and winter.
It looks like you set the sky on fire…
I tried my best Alex.
You and centuries of pollution
Breathtaking capture!
Thanks Ellie very much.
Your sunsets are always stunning, and will keep us wanting to see more of them from you.
You are very kind my friend.
Another wonderful sunset photograph….but I always enjoy your sunset photos!
Thanks so much for your kind words.
What is the old adage red sky at night sailors take warning?
Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning.
Thanks Carol, I was pretty sure I had it wrong. My dad used to say that all the time.
Yes I have always heard it as well.
Thank you very much!
Whenever I say that’s the best sunset I’ve ever seen, you guys prove me wrong with new picture! This is stunning! ?
You are so kind, thank you Elena.
