Facts and Reality ~ 365 Photos Challenge #15

The Moon and the Sun, Night and Day, Fact and Reality are something I want to say a little on the fifteenth day of this challenge.

Two days ago, early in the morning, I had gone to the backyard to see the moon that had peeked through my kitchen window. From the western horizon, with a cute smile on its wholeness face, the white small moon looked at me and I stared at him. Waving my hand whispered, “Thank you for giving me a beautiful morning, once again.” Then I went to work.

After that, I also set the intention to see the face of the afternoon of the same day in the same place. I was lucky there was no work that could keep me from going home as soon as possible. I hurried home to avoid traffic jams, and the intention came true.

I arrived in the backyard a while before my earth part turned its back to the sun, his face was covered with clouds. To the sun, I also waved while hissing, “See you tomorrow morning, brother.”

That’s my important fact and reality that day. The fact that the sun and moon came for my day and night. The fact that the sun and moon do not rise or drown. The fact that my earth part has their backs to them for a while. The fact that my eyes and perceptions can be fooled by the idea of the words “sunrise and sunset”, as well as the flickering stars that arrive in my eyes every night actually is their flickering hundreds, thousands or millions of years ago. So, what are the facts and reality?

Anyone can join in on this fun photo challenge which was started by John artbytes26 . Just please be sure to check out Art’s rules and guidelines for the challenge in this post 365 Photos Challenge.

  1. Facts are nothing but concoctions made by the brain thinking it can see the whole elephant when it can only behold the toenail of the elephant. Reality, according to Einstein, is but an illusion. No one knows everything. And we know nothing, said Socrates (or was it Jon Snow? lol). Now, illusion they may be, just the same I like staring up the sun, the moon and the infinite sky. That emptiness up there is what holds us in place; the emptiness within us is what makes us a human. Stay in the zero according to Adi Da (world teacher). Jeez! Too early in the morning and you got me started blabbing about zeroes.

    • Yeheyhey… I’m so happy with comments like this. I’m glad if the menu I serve can be appealing; recognizable, tasted, and enjoyed wholeheartedly. Come on, tell me more… or give me another story about facts… hehehe…

  2. Whatever the facts and the reality is important is at least another thing for me. Morning to say good morning to our loved ones, to the Sun or to see the moon. In the evening, wish all of you Goodnight. Let’s get the stars while we sleep in the hug of our favorite man.

  3. As I always say, nature has so much to offer all of us. The sun and moon are two of the best examples. Enjoyed your beautiful photos. And so glad to read how you enjoyed like I do the sunset and the moon.

    • You are right, and I agree, (affirmation of attitude) Carol. Nature has and gives us everything we need. I love the sun and the moon too, it’s just that I have not had the courage to compete with you in posting the face of both.

        • You are right again… there is a fine line between the reality of perception and the true reality. Which one is more determine our attitude, that is what we need to ponder and then we choose consciously to be made as life compass. And hopefully, my jokes about the competition do not bite your feelings, O my best friend.
