3. This painting is lit – it’s on like a ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ theme when they were fighting in the forest.

7. I like the sword too. I wanna go and find out what shinai is.

   • shinai are practice swords made of bamboo. as opposed to a bokken, which is solid wood

     they’re both training swords, but you’ll see folks in manga using them as a primary weapon because they’re too dangerous to use a real sword…
