How do you catch a unique bird?

Unique up on it!

The pack loves to scare away all wildlife and make it safe for us to walk. Those pesky rabbits and birds are just pure evil. But still, I have managed to capture a few from my walks.

This pelican was rudely awakened as the dogs ran past.

This pretty seagull was looking out to sea. Then it noticed the dogs…

He gave me a rather stern look…

I don’t know what the one below is, but I loved the yellow on it. Feel free to comment if you know what it is.

Another little bird.

The one below isn’t the best of pictures. Hummingbirds are super hard to photograph. This one is called an Anna’s Hummingbird. Its easy to pick out from the rest with its ruby red throat, and green back.

And my friend in the frame below, the Red Tailed Hawk. I have so many pictures of her. She doesn’t mind the dogs, but rather loves it when they chase a mouse out of the brush.

Those intense eyes…

This Great Blue Heron didn’t feel the same as the hawk, it was fishing in the pond below this tree, before he heard the dogs.

Around the same pond, a Snowy White Egret takes a bath, preening its long feathers.

Hope you liked my little bird collection. Have a great day!
