Remembering my special friend that passed one year ago today. I gave her the flowers in the photo. I took photos of them, knowing they would be the last flowers to give her. She always said to bring her flowers while she was alive, don’t wait for the funeral.
That makes complete sense. We should shower our friends and family with flowers when we know their time is almost up. Let them enjoy the blooms while they are still with us.
This pink butterfly was added especially for her. Pink was her favorite color and she loved butterflies. So glad I took photos before I gave her these flowers. Memories forever. She is missed and was loved by many. Enjoy your loved ones as you never know what the next moment holds.

My mother says the same thing! Shes one smart woman too! Love this bouquet with the beautiful purple delphinium and daisies, even some tulips. I forgot the name of the purple on the bottom. I just planted a blue delphinium with one bloom on it!
It is a good attitude to have about life. I also forget the name of the purple ones.
I don’t understand flowers as a gift. I understand plants as a gift…
They brighten our day, if only for a day. The bright colors, the smells, just a nice gesture.
