Here’s a night photo I took this summer. I am curious to hear your opinion and whether the photo was taken with a smartphone or a DSLR camera. What do you think?

I much prefer the camera but the smartphone comes in handy when I don’t have a camera with me.
They both have their advantages and disadvantages. 🙂
I prefer taking photos with a camera than a smartphone. That is a beautiful photo.
Thank you very much for your kind words!
Use smartphone for taking photos 80% of time & camera – 20%, but prefer camera. So-so.
Each of them has its own advantages and strenghts. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
The look of the photo tells that it was taken using a camera. Beautiful photo I admit.
Thank you very much, it is taken with a smartphone.
Wow, tell me the kind of smartphone you used to take that image. Really looks awesome.
Thank you! It’s Huawei p10 plus, I really like this brand. This model in particular has options for taking night photos, light art, silk water and some other cool things, but you need a tripod for that.
I prefer raytracing to photography
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
no problem, not sure it was entirely relevant…
Well, it reminds us that there are other options too.
how accommodating of you
The picture is beautiful, Ellie.
Actually I prefer to use a camera but because I rarely carry it, I think the phone is more practical and always available in the pocket.
Thank you so much! 🙂 I also think that you can take better photos with a camera, but the phone is just so convenient and I like that.
In this case, technological development today has really helped us, right?
Nice picture I prefer using the camera myself.
Thank you for sharing your opinion, Pamela! 🙂
Beautiful picture … I prefer to use the phone …
Thank you so much! I prefer using a phone too. 🙂
Nice picture, I love hues.
Thank you so much, Bradley!
I have no problem with my phone I like my smartphone’s output.
Me too, and I love how convenient it is. 🙂
Looks like a smartphone to me, not because I know anything about fancier cameras, but because of the location where it is just more likely that you would have a smartphone available at the time. It is nice to have a good camera on the phone in order not to have to carry so much stuff around.
That’s an interesting point of view. It’s a smartphone indeed, but I had a professor who carried his huge camera everywhere, even to work, and took photos during the breaks.
This photo is breathtaking! My iphone does not take good pictures most of the time. I need to invest in a good camera.
Thank you so much! I took this photo with a phone, I am a big fan of the Huawei brand. Mine is an older model, but I like the camera.
Great photo! Very well taken. I like both….I think my DSLR takes better photos, but the phone is easier to take everywhere.
Thank you very much! At this point, I prefer the convenience of the phone. 🙂
I definitely agree with that! ?
I am still saving for a camera. The one I had was already damaged. As of now, I am taking photos using a phone and I don’t know how to get a good result.
I like using a phone, because it’s easier and I don’t have to learn all the settings, haha. I hope you can get the camera you want soon! 🙂
I prefer my camera but there are many photos, probably like this one, that are beautiful with the phone.
Love the night photo Ellie.
Thank you Carol, I wasn’t able to deceive you. 🙂
