I went for a walk in a park and saw this. I took a picture of the whole thing, then each letter. I wanted to share it with you, but decided to make a few games out of it. One is this one where you have to guess who wrote what on each of the letters, and one I will turn into a find the difference game and post it later on.
Now for this one.
Inside are 7 letters that make up the word America, each has a quote on it. Let’s see if you can match up the quote with who said it. Sound easy enough?
Good luck!

You got 4 out of 7 right!
Not so bad
Thhanks Kim
Pretty darn good there Robin and thanks a bunch for playing!
Waoooo I got 5 out of 7. Ok
Hey, thats not bad at all there! You did great, and thank you for playing!
You welcome always friend
I got four right. You made a beautiful quiz, Kim, and all the quotes are very meaningful and moving. I wish some leaders today would read them and take them to heart!
You passed Norman, great going on this quiz, being from over there in that far off place…..Thank you for playing and yes some of our leaders today really need to listen to these words. I doubt Trump would get one of these correct.
i got them all, some of the statements are ones that i have long held to my heart. They do, with the magnifying glass of today, begin to ring hollow.
I didn’t know if it was just me, but I got a lump in my throat seeing these.. Our forefathers would be so unhappy with the way things are now.
well some of them would. Jefferson used to be my hero. Then I found out that one of his friends left him money, and he promised to free all his slaves when he died. He didn’t
Congratulations on a perfect score. I knew you would do well with this one.
I love quotes in all forms! plus some are quotes I use all the time
I think this is a great result for me … I have 4 correct ones
It is great Lado! Way to go and thanks for playing.
You got 5 out of 7 right.
Wonderful Fortune, you did very well with only two incorrect. Thanks for playing.
You got 5 out of 7 right!
Dunno the truth, I just guessed from the number of years…
That clairvoyant side kicked in did it? Five correct is really good! You are very observant Albert, you noticed the dates which were clues for sure.
Unfortunately, there is one that has no date, Kim. Maybe you should make a complaint.
You got 2 out of 7 right!
Could be better
oops …
Could be better true, but this is not your country, so two correct is okay. Thanks for giving it a go!
I suppose at one time in school I knew them all but time goes on so I got 3 but I enjoyed finding out about who said these phrases
I have always had a hard time remembering who quoted what. At least you got three of them correct. Thank you for trying!
Missed #2 sad to day. This was good Kim.
#2 was the hardest one. That one isn’t mentioned as much. I would’ve gotten it wrong as well, but congratulations are in order, missing just one is fabulous!
All correct – and I’m not even an American!
Congratulations on the perfect score! You did super on this one for being across the pond!
Most of them were obvious because of the dates – only a few needed actual knowledge!
My result 2 out of 7. The strange thing is I thought I had heard all the sentences before
You probably have heard them at some time or other Halcombe, and thank you for trying!
