I got ten out of thirteen
I missed two according to your answers 11 and 8. We’ve already discussed #8 to death, so that wasn’t really wrong. On #11, according to Webster’s New World Dictionary, both are correct, so no answer should have been marked wrong. So I really got a perfect score if the answers had been correctly set up.
10/13! Good one
Wow! you’re really good
10 out of 13 right
thanks for answering.. you are good!
great quiz, it was so easy
thanks for answering..
SAW HERE IS DIFFERENT MEANING..
The Saw here is not the saw that seen diffrent
10 😀 🙂
wow.. you’re good.
12 of 13; question #8 ??
the SAW here means to cut
Thank you guys..
3
better luck next time
12 correct………
When I realized what a past participle is, I was able to answer almost all correctly….
wow.. you’re good
?
I have 1 mistake at number 8 but for me im perfect score..
If i made my own quiz sometimes i write the correct answer but when submitted wrong there was a technical error sometimes…
Yeah maybe technichal error the right answer at 8 is SAWN.. even at my own Quiz sometimes i write the correct answer but when submitted double question sometimes..
be careful mommy next time.. double check always
i got 12 correct, but I guessed all of them correct
wow. you’re good
12 out of 13 right. Got #8 wrong.
the SAW in number 8 means to cut
It says
You got 12 out of 13 right!
Perfect. You rock!
But I made a silly mistake 🙁
wow.. you’re really great.. almost perfect score
I got 11 huhu
wow.. you’re good
12/13. I would also query question 8, because the meaning of “saw” here must be “to use a saw”. The answer “saw” would only be right if the verb given was “see”.
???
In fact, ‘saw’ is not the past participle of any verb.
sorry.. i just made a mistake in number 8.. the correct answer is sawn.. the SAW there means to cut
12/13 but actually #8 is wrong: “sawn” is the correct answer. Additionally, #5 is not clear-cut: “It is proven” is common, but “I have proven” is not; you will more frequently meet, “I have proved”, and it is not incorrect.
From http://www.dictionary.com/browse/prove :
Usage note:
Either proved or proven is standard as the past participle of prove : Events have proved(or proven) him wrong. As a modifier, proven is by far the more common: a proven fact.
?????
i’m sorry.. i just made a mistake..
got 12 out of 13 right!
you’re great.
I think both options are incorrect. Wouldn’t the correct answer be “seen”?
Strikel says she’s giving us the infinitive, and if ‘saw’ is an infinitive, it means to cut with a saw, for which the participle is sawn.
yeah,… correct norman,, the saw means to cut
