Would You Change Your Behaviors?

It was an interesting article. It made me think and that is always a good thing. I did a little work to find out the source because sometimes that matters. It this case it didn’t matter at all. It was an authentic and general article and gave me a lot to think about.

When I believe I have misbehaved and hurt someone intentionally or otherwise, I believe in doing everything in my power to somehow make amends. I think that is important so you can move past whatever happened. Hanging on to anger tends to eat at the soul, I believe. I also think it is very important not to forget, so you don’t find yourself making those same kinds of mistakes.

Yes, I have changed some behaviors. Yes, I will change many more. That is what learning and growing are all about and that never ends. Hardhearted people have a long journey to peace. Learning to avoid pitfalls is so important, but always focusing on finding those pitfalls is a danger as well. We tend to find what we are looking for.

  1. wow, this is a lot to unpack.

The answer for me is yes and no. I will always stand up for my friends, regardless.
I do often find myself regretting things that happen. But i have to let those feelings flow away from me, they can be toxic.

  2. Sometimes we just unconsciously repeat our mistakes … because it has become a “habit”.
I’ve got myself into some mess while trying to help friends … and then she chose to get back into the cycle …
I think I’m more for stepping away …
