I love my slippers. Yes I get up and get dressed for work, and my shoes are my slippers or moccasins. These were not allowed in the traditional work place and my feet were not happy there. My feet are happy at home. (Pro)
The people who live with me at home seem to think I can stop working at any time and do things for them. (Con)
I am more flexable with my hours. They can give me a quick call and see if I want overtime work. (Pro)
The neighbors think because I am home I can stop working and chat. (Con)
I am able to be here if there are emergencies. (Pro)
I am much less social since I moved to work at home. I am still so grateful that I am not driving through Parleys Canyon every day. The mountain pass at the top of the canyon is known as Parley’s Summit. With an elevation of 7,120 feet. So you go from 4226 ft to 7,120 ft and in the winter it’s typically covered with ice and snow.
I am happy to stay home in my slippers.
