I have been clearing out my friends list on my Twitter page as of late. I prefer to weed out the inactive pages that are not following me or the ones with no potential whatsoever of even responding to me when I message or tweet them. It feels like a fresh new start because I have been on the website since August, 2012. I look forward to rebuilding my friends list with online friends that respond as well as ones that post less toxic things going on in the world.

i have been working on that for a long time, in particular I don’t read toxic posts here, and on twitter, i block really toxic users.

I have that one, too. I utilize it to unfollow right after I am unfollowed for whatever known reason. I think Twitter causes that, but I keep in mind that if the user wanted me around then they would have kept in touch, or responded to me in the first place. Most just add just to add, so I’m always like what ever.
it really depends honestly, some people i follow who follow me do so because of the stuff I share (like this post).
The thing that ticks me is when it has been months, then out of the blue unfollow. I wait now to follow others because of that. Twitter is very weird because you’ll get these weird followers that find you out of nowhere and their post are not related to anything like yours. Seems so spammed.
people look at velocity (when someone posts how much engagement to they get) a lot on twitter and Instagram.
I have been talking myself into just deleting nearly everyone. I look at a lot of stuff, especially when they are following me. I really think I am muted by certain users because I could post good photographs and none of them will get any attention.
