People from a lot of places where winter is usually cold and snowy have been worried because of the lack of snow and the unusually warm weather. While the temperatures here haven’t been that high, there has been very little snow so far. I am personally not a big fan of snow, especially after Christmas, but it is still needed to fill the rivers and reservoirs in the area.
Last week I went to the near mountain to see some snow, but there wasn’t much there either. Only northern slopes looked like winter, and many parts of the mountain reminded more of early spring.

For me, the weather is great all year long. And I’m not a fan of the snow like you.

It seems that the weather is going crazy
2019 was the second warmest year on record globally.
Jan 2020 so far has been the warmest month in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) on record!
Here, it’s mostly heading towards lack of seasons than overall hotter weather.
it is really sad either way regardless of the outcome.
Auckland and New Zealand has in the past had warm and wet weather, but over the last 5 years, I have noticed several droughts and instead of green lush fields, the hills and landscape is now brown.

I noticed that in some warm places, it’s the opposite and it’s unusually cold and snowy.

That’s quite possible. In our country, this happens almost every year. It snows in April and May.
I have seen snow in May only once or twice here. It’s unpleasant, but there’s not much we can do about it.
The same with us, dear Ellie … the snow is only snowing over 1000m and that is not very much …. all the ski resorts guarantee that it is a natural disaster …. I saw on TV that even in Blansko there is not much snow
