I require a higher dose of some medications. We try low and then go as we need. My doctor put in my chart, “if you give her enough to kill a horse you might take the edge off.” Since I was at the hospital and my doctor came with me they tried to get everything done at once. I felt like a pin cushion. I am still groggy and a little off, but I need to get up and moving. There is always much to be done.
I am able to take off the sunglasses now. I am still very nauseous and trying to keep anything down. I can’t stay in bed and just wait, there is always too much to do.

It’s not like I go looking for a reason for medication. I think we all agree we avoid them when we can.
