W for winter – alibb’s alphabet crazy challenge

Many Indians have migrated to the West and most have never experienced the kind of winter that exists in the US

This photo was sent to me by a friend of mine who has migrated to the US.  And this was her first winter out there. That photo is a scene of her Balcony. Looking at the photo it is obvious this dear friend must have shivered in her bones but let’s face it no one will admit that they are having a tough time having to weather something that they have never experienced before.

She did say she was very happy and enjoying the weather. This phrase comes to mind What can’t be cured has to be endured

  • Do you enjoy winter in your country?

    • This friend had just migrated and yet had to say she was having a great time. I would shiver in my pants and all over the place (lol)

  1. No matter how uncomfortable it may be, this sight of snow would please me the first time I see it. It will probably feel uncomfortable when the novelty factor wears off.

  2. Right now I am glad I am in the state of Florida and there is no snow. I had enough snow back when I lived in Latvia and one winter when it started to snow we thought it would never stop. The snow in our garden was up to our waistlines,

  3. I live close to Himalayan area (On Delhi Dehradun Highway in India) so I don’t have to go to West for such an experience. I am in Canberra right now which has snow in winters.
