Unusual and Weird Things ~ Final Part 5

Last part of the series:  20 unusual and weird things with you.

Of course there are probably millions of unusual and weird things to be found in the world.

But I narrowed it down to 20 that I chose to share. They are all very cool.

Here are parts one through four in case you missed them:

Unusual and Weird Things ~ Part 1

Unusual and Weird Things ~ Part 2

Unusual and Weird Things ~ Part 3

Unusual and Weird Things ~ Part 4

I will end the series with part five, listing four at a time, adding photos for your entertainment.

  • Question of

    Underwater Crop Circles

    • 2. This was the part of the circle where the male entertained lady callers.
    • 3. When a female pufferfish approached the circle, the male stirred up the sand in the middle and darted back and forth through it.
    • 4. If she judged him a suitable mate, she would lay her eggs in the sandy central zone.
  • Question of

    Bleeding Glacier

    • 1. In Antarctica iron oxide cause the outflowing water that resembles blood. Also known as ” blood falls ”.
    • 2. Scientists have discovered that Antarctica’s “bleeding glacier” connects to a series of underground aquifers which are teeming with microbial life, some of which give the eerie waterfall its signature coloring.
    • 3. The results from beneath the glacier have intrigued scientists for a variety of reasons, but their findings may have implications stretching beyond our own planet.
  • Question of

    Living Rocks

    • 2. This rock is actually a bizarre creature that can breed with itself.
    • 3. From the outside it looks like a grey stone, but if you cut it open there is a mass of blood-red hermaphrodites living inside.
    • 4. The living rock is basically a mass of organs surrounded by a layer of skin and muscle.
  • Question of

    Lenticular Clouds

    • 2. Moreover, they have been offered as one of the most feasible explanations for numerous UFO sightings as well.
    • 3. Pilots who fly powered aircraft, generally tend to avoid flying near these clouds. This is because the presence of the mountain wave results in severe turbulence of the aircraft’s rotor systems.
