Music as a composition and combination of tone/voice and temporal relationships that produce a composition of rhythm, song, and harmony are universal languages. I am not a musician even though I was once a vocalist of a beginner rock group that failed to develop, but we don’t have to be musicians or experts to be able to enjoy the beauty of music, whatever the type of music. Like other art branches, the art of music also gives its own spirit to the audience.
Like good music and we like it or vice versa which both can affect us, so does the tone of speech. Beyond the understanding of music in general, talking is actually a “music” and art that is very capable of influencing ourselves, both mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Voice tone is an aspect of communication that rarely gets much attention even though it is actually the soul of every word we convey. The tone we sound through words can actually suggest the meaning that may be very different from the words we say and the underlying feelings.
At various levels of relationships, our tone of voice is often a way of unconsciously expressing our emotions which can be a source of inspiration, enthusiasm, happiness, warmth, inner peace, etc. but on the contrary are also very capable of being the cause of fear, sadness, pain heart, revenge, hatred, and even unresolved majority conflicts. This is even can be the main cause of political and religious polarization.
Given that at every word, our tone of voice in communicating many things – both what we realize and many we do not realize, then it is very important to pay attention and realize the tone of our voice carefully. Our tone awareness can be an important turning point in helping us find our intentions, our moods, our sensitivity, and much more.
Many things can actually be solved by the strength of that awareness. If we realize that our relationship or communication with other people has a disorder or problem, then it is very likely that we must improve or cure our tone. With an awareness of this tone, we have the opportunity to understand how we unwittingly hurt others and ourselves and can help us focus on the purest qualities of our hearts. In addition, when people try to create unnecessary suffering for us, we can find the wisdom to create a pause of silence, breathing and even, sometimes, separating ourselves from a situation. That is about how we focus and translate our intuitive emotional intelligence.
Of course, that is not an easy job, because it is a lifestyle that is rooted in honesty, humility, and affection. However, this awareness can be an anchor of the quality of the meaning you want to bring to the world.

More of those little things in life that need to be perfected in a relationship. Great and powerful message here Albert. Honesty and trust are two things you must have.
Something we do every day, almost every time, has made us fail to see it as something very important and to be done effectively in accordance with the best intentions expected and the ideal goals to be achieved.
And you are rigjt, honesty and trust are two importantant basis.
Tone is very important in communication
Hopefully, our speech is always as beautiful as music, my friend!
I music is wonderful – each has its own charm
Hopefully, our speech is always as beautiful as music, my friend!
That’s for sure, because it’s frank and well-intentioned
Yes, you are right, Lado my friend
Yes, the tone of somebody voice might just make all the difference.
Yes, my friend. So hopefully our tone of voice is always awake and sincere in every conversation.
I agree Tone carries emotions… so it’s very important in expressing.
For music, my tone is never in harmony … lol
and oh, you should do us a recording!! Since you’ve good experience with vocal!!
It doesn’t matter if we can’t sing, but what’s important is that our sound of words is as beautiful as all the world’s hits songs.
About recording sound, I was a little worried that all the PCs will be damaged by the discordant waves of my voice.
Nah, you’d just “spoiled” them in a good way… they’ll be pampered LOL
I think the thing about singing is that no matter how great your “words” and expressions are, they’d be ignored if the tone isn’t in harmony (or too “free-style” as I call it) or ear-pleasing… lol
I think, it’s good to spoil those who have experienced mental and spiritual exhaustion, even though they feel or pretend to be fine. Hehe…
Well, you’ve been doing that :p
but more with words and pictures
Wow… I consider this to be a special compliment.
The sound of the piano is magic. I love the language that music presents. The tonality of a concerto shows the reality of tone.
Nicely done Albert!
…then hopefully our words tone is always as beautiful as a concerto. Thanks for your philosophy, Doc.
That is a great thought, Albert. But our tone is often not good. People don’t remember the magic rule of communication (listen twice as much as you speak!)
I agree with your opinion, Doc. I just mediated a fight when I wrote this article yesterday. I think many people know very well that our tone contains various emotions that can stimulate the communicant’s reaction in communication, unfortunately, not many people are able to realize, applied or to become what is known.
I know my children often struggle with tone and its application… It can be a can long learned.
