My coral bells (Heuchera Timeless Treasure) are starting to bloom in the front yard. I always love seeing these burgundy leaves appear and now the blooms. In the photo you can see a green leaf to the left. That is my hydrangea. It is growing as well. And will bloom later in the season.
This perennial (returns each year) has large pink flowers on mahogany stems that totally cover the plant in early summer and then repeat into late summer. A nice choice for adding a touch of color towards the front of a border
We have had rain lately, so I go out in between the showers and snap a few photos. You can see raindrops on these leaves. Nature is so cool after a rain shower. Everything is so fresh. I was in a hurry as it was starting to rain again.
I have posted a couple of times about the Timeless Treasure Coral Bells in my yard. Here are a couple of older posts if you are interested..

I used to walk in the rain when I was younger but now… it seems like I’ve grew to be “fearful” of the rain…
Nice, we’ve a plant name after you 😀
I looked at these flowers as mini pieces of jewelry. I can imagine them as dangling earrings. Thank you for sharing.
I thought they were begonias at first. I have a similar looking begonia with larger flowers though.
Actually they should be called Timeless Carol Bells cos they look like Christmas decorations. All we need need is a good acapella band to sing some carols.
Oh you are so funny. That would be cool right! I bet you could sing.
Watch this space I may surprise you soon…
I like rains, and yes, it is fun to walk in the rain
That is good to hear, I am glad!
I love summer rain very much, it is warm and somehow even softer than in autumn. Sometimes I even enjoy if forget my umbrella. And after the rain, I love going barefoot on the soft wet grass of my little garden. It’s a fantastic feeling. And you can still feel the rain’s smell that starts to evaporate.
Yes going barefoot in the wet grass is so cool. Thanks Fortune for sharing. I love the smells of freshness.
we did yesterday (walk in the rain). There is a point in our walk we call the point of known return. It is the back stretch and if we turn when we are half way in that stretch we can be home in 10 minutes. If we go another 5 minutes then no matter which way we go, we are a 1/2 hour from home. It started raining right as we turned the corner with a 1/2 hour either way home.
That is nice. I am sure with the dogs you walk in all kinds of weather.
yes we do, although the labs are not fan of 90/90 and the twins don’t like 10/10
(degrees/humidity)
You always have a funny to tell about the twins. 🙂
I do, they can be quite hilarious!
I like it when it rains in Lake Charles because the kills off the extreme heat.
Yes I am sure, and the humidity as well.
The humidity is very sticky as well.
That is one thing I do not miss about living in New Orleans.
Nice post. I like rain and feel so happy while walking in rain
Thank you, I enjoy the rain.
Rain has always been romantic to human nature, and if rain drop on flowers garden it is simplyperfect and amazing
Yes I agree with you. It does seem to make the plant perfect with the drops. Thank you!
Rain usually makes plants appearance more attractive and makes them glitter.
Hey, the rain has also dropped for a few days around me and reduce the heat of the sun.
Yes they do, adds a little extra to the petals it seems. Glad you got a relief from the heat.
Beautiful picture. These flowers had my mom in the garden.
Thank you very much. Glad you know about these flowers.
I do not like rain … walking down the rain even less ….. I sit for a while … finally we have sun and heat … the flowers are wonderful, dear friend
Thank you for sharing dear lado. Have a good day!
With great joy … and you have a nice day, dear friend
It is 4pm here now so the day is almost over.
With us, the clock is 23.38 … but it will be a little more Monday, dear Carol
Hard to keep up with what day and time it is in your world. 🙂
I like walking after the rain.
Yes indeed, it is so refreshing.
