The Female Cardinal

The female cardinal bird is always easy to identify from the male. The male is a bright red color and bigger than the female of course. The female is a sublet brown with red markings. Just a beautiful little bird. I snapped several photos of her this morning on my deck feeder while she was enjoying the sunflower seeds. Usually they are hard to capture. But it was raining and I guess she was hungry. I was of course indie out fo the rain with the camera and tripod clicking away.

Have a great day everyone. If you bird watch, share your photos as well. I enjoy seeing birds from all over the world.
