Today I took a walk near a nearby lake. From the lake, there is a beautiful view of our most popular ski resort – Krvavec. Krvavec offers 26 km of well-groomed ski slopes, at an altitude of 1450 m – 1971 m. This altitude provides wonderful conditions for skiing on natural and compact snow. Due to its favorable location, the ski season usually starts as early as the end of November and usually lasts more than 150 days until the first days of May. But this year, winter has spoiled all the pleasures. As you can see in the picture, this ski resort is almost free of snow.

I am living close to Snowy Mountains which has lot of skiing opportunities in Australia. And I come from Himalayan area of India with lots of skiing areas. I wish I could participate in the new challenges but too busy offline until April end, thanks for the invite.

Not much snow at all. That sure does look beautiful though. We do have ski resorts near us, although I havent been in 15 yrs. I love to ski, but I go slow. I love cross country skiing, that’s more my style. Slowwww…
We have fewer and fewer real winters. I also don’t ski because I’m scared of injuries. Your decision is a wise one. It’s just slowwww for us ?
Snow Skiing, as a famous comic once said is simply how long can you avoid crashing! I love walking around ski resorts, but I don’t ski.

You should have went with Greta to Davos in Switzerland because there is barely any snow in Slovenia.
ha ha ha …. I think there is a lack of snow in Switzerland as well. They had great difficulty preparing the race for alpine skiers.
I don’t ski anymore and haven’t since I was a kid. Now I like my bones too much. (ha, ha, ha) 🙂

You are right. This winter season will be very bad. All ski resorts have too little snow.
