The best exercises you can do in your life

I hate gyms, every time I workout I do it at home, take walks or bicycle. Now I read a study from Harvard University, that determine which activities are most beneficial for both physical and mental health. There are certain exercises that help keep weight under control, improve balance and range of motion. , strengthen bones, protect joints and improve memory.

Swimming – According to experts, swimming is the perfect workout. Exercise combines effort with water resistance and relieves impact on joints, favoring optimal muscle strengthening without the risk of injury. In addition, the activity is great for caloric burning, increased muscle mass, fitness, cardiorespiratory capacity and also favors the mind, improving mood and overall well-being.

Bodybuilding – According to Harvard researchers, it is not necessary to be extremely muscular to benefit from strength training. Lifting light weights does not increase muscle but makes you stronger. And this result is important to maintain disposition and burn calories even when the person is at rest, as the practice speeds up metabolism.

Walks – According to the same research, walking is a simple but powerful activity. The practice improves fitness, lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) levels, strengthens bones, keeps blood pressure under control, improves mood and memory, and reduces the risk of a variety of diseases (including diabetes and heart disease).

Picture is mine.

  1. I like walking and doing home workouts. I can’t lift even smaller weights for long due to chest problem. I can’t so some exercises due to back pain. Thus, I’m limited to most exercises.
