I snapped this photo yesterday evening right before a thunderstorm. I caught a glimpse of the sun peeking in with its rays. The rest of the sky filled was filled with gray and black clouds. We definitely needed the rain. With hot temperatures and drying out grass, the rain was welcomed. It only lasted about 30 minutes. Maybe more will come today. Hope you are all having a great Sunday. I am sharing a photo I took awhile back of the actual rain. I love watching rain and dark clouds. As long as there is not thunder involved. The smell and sound of the rain is relaxing.

There is a name for it, I forgot… those thunderstorm that comes fast during the evening and then go as quickly… we have those here too…
I don’t mind rain storm as long as I’m in doors … hehe

The most interesting thing about rain is the type of rain falling. I spent a lot of time in Seattle, they don’t get the same kind of rain you get in the midwest. They get a light, misty rain most of the time. It is an interesting thing when the rain falls.
Sometimes red rain comes down.
It brings the wind from the Sahara Desert and red sand of the rain is really red.
I have been lucky enough to be rained on in many places. I find the best rain is the one watched from inside a restaurant or inside your home with family around you!!!

Great photo. I love the rain as long as there is no thunder, I will walk around in it. Of course, if it is not coming down too hard.

I like it when it rains. The one thing I get scared of is the thunder and lighting. The thunder because sometimes it causes a small shake of the home.
Yes I try to avoid the thunder and that is a good idea.
That is true since many dogs when they hear thunder, they get scared.
Indeed, they listen to their instincts.
That is very true since animals are smarter than they look.
I do enjoy a little rain-shower, but not if it is too heavy lol. Great photo!
