The Poet Carl Sandburg described Chicago as the city with Big Shoulders. Many call Chicago the Windy City. It isn’t for the cold winds that whip down the streets.
It was because of the long-winded politicians!
The second city is another nickname that Chicago has. The Second City is also a comedy group, Chris Farley, Dan Ackroyd, Gilda Radner, John Belushi, and many others came out of the Chicago 2nd City comedy group!

My first time hearing Bear Down was during my first Bears game versus the Seattle Seahawks. I looked the song up after leaving the game as a memory of my very first. Da Bears lost! I believe that was back in 2008.
