When you woke up this morning, do you remember your first thought of the day? I was involved in a challenge where I agreed to write down my first thought of the day for two weeks. It was an eye opener!
The next set of instructions were that we would choose our first thought of the day the night before as we went to bed and we would write it down. we were not given any suggestions or directions of what those thoughts should be.
My mind quickly went to some affirmations, but I couldn’t convince myself that any of them were truly within my reach. So my first thought for the assignment was this “Morning! I have the skills to be successful and I am choosing to use them.”

What day is it today?!
i love this idea!
Today I will see the path clearly that upon which I will trod!
My first thought was, what day is it! 🙂
My first thought of the day is usually, “to snooze or not to snooze” LOL
My first thought is always to give “Thanks” even if it is raining, and that was a man’s advice to me.. I found it very helpful and puts me in a good mood to begin the day
That is awesome. Perhaps that is the perfect greeting for the day with nothing else needed.
I am getting a dream journal in the mail Tuesday, I think I will try this, see what my mind comes up with.
What is a dream journal? Write down what you dreamed about? Write goals? Where are getting it from? Do I need one? so many questions I have!
my first thought is to open eyes properly
I had no idea there is a proper way to open your eyes. Now I wonder if I am doing that wrong.
I have a morning routine I say my morning prayer and thank the Lord I am ready to take on a new day and then I read from the Bible and my day begins
I am most certain that helps your day begin on the right foot. Thanks for being willing to share and comment.
I think my first thought most days is “I must go to the loo!”
Oh, that’s a given for me, not a thought an action.
