Sharing a photo of a robin in Dustin’s garden. This photo was taken back in the spring. The robins were looking for worms for their babies. Edited this one to black and white for today’s challenge.
Looking forward to the birds returning next spring and hopefully new families will be born again.

I love this in B&W I think it shows the contrast (bird, grass) perfectly.
Thanks Doc, many do not care for b&w, but sometimes it works. He was in the garden, the bench was to his right, rose bush to his left.
well I think it is beautiful – well done!
You are very kind, thank you!
I wish the picture was in color.
I would to see how I look.
Lol.
Have a nice weekend.
I will post the color photo today Robin. He really is a beautiful bird. Thank you!
Yes, there are 2 baby Blackbirds around our place at the moment nice shot and lovely capture
How cool to watch this in nature Pam.
A robin? What variety is that? It is not remotely like the robins seen in the UK – more like a song thrush.
I will post a color photo today as requested. It is an American Robin.
Beautiful birds , never seen this before
Thanks, they are really beautiful birds.
I have not seen any birdies here , but many puppies though.
I love puppies and dogs, and all kinds of animals.
Not seeb babies but many birds fly around here and spend time in the bird bath too
I love seeing them splash in the water year round here.
Great photo In the room where I work at my PC I always hear birds out chirping starting from the early morning. One bird got so loud one day as he was passing my window that he quite startled me and I shouted what’s the matter?
What a great background sound you have. Mockingbirds are very loud here, all through the night.
Unfortunately, a few months I will not be awakened by birds singing ?
It is happening here although I always have a few even through the winter.
I feed the birds on my deck through the winter and have them visit every day.
I haven’t seen a bird starting this year. Only hens and ducks.
Our spring and summer ended and most of the birds are gone now.
Great picture, dear Carol …. you know my opinion on black and white
Thanks, I do and I agree but just participating in the challenge. 🙂
I have no garden. In the month of June at the house of my young son in Bulgaria I saw the little babies of a family of swallows in the nest.
I have never seen baby swallows. How exciting.
On our summer holiday we had a swallow’s nest just outside the cottage door. We could observe them closely during the week as all four baby birds went through the process of fledging – from being fed in the nest to going on practice flights with their parents.
Sounds like the bluebirds I usually have in the yard. How cool to see this in nature.
