Raindrop Bee ~ Saturday Critters Challenge

Sharing this bee with today’s Saturday Critters challenge. We have had tons of rain lately. In between showers I will go out and snap a few photos. You can see the raindrops on my butterfly bush blooms. The bee was enjoying the nectar from the blooms and could care less about me or the camera.

These tiny raindrops are more of those little things that many miss. Slow down and look around. Nature has so much to offer all of us.

  1. Nice one. It is always reassuring to have native bees in your yard. I am a bit late for Saturday critters today as it is Sunday, but I literally have over a hundred pictures of bees. I do some anti-GMO volunteer work and the pictures are partly a result of that. I have gotten quite good at bees. At first, not so much. It took a lot of practice to get a good one about one out of ten times. I still have one bee post here I think.

  2. Today we published similar insect photos. Unlike yours that after rain, my are made on a sunny day. A super moment has been captured. I like it.
